Treaters, often referred to as heater treaters or oil treaters, are separator vessels used to separate water, gas and other impurities from oil-water emulsions in the production process. RBI treaters heat the oil and water mixture, causing the water to vaporize and rise to the top of the vessel. This allows for any remaining impurities, such as solid particles, to settle to the bottom.
